Went to watch movie -- <2012> -- with RACHEL, ALAINE, AIJIA, DEBBIE, HUIXUAN, ABIGAIL, DARREN, KAILER and JUNKANG at The Cathay after our last paper.
It's nice...i like the visual and sound effect=)
This was the day to spend time with RACHEL.

Today was 3-10 GIRLS ONLY class outing, but it was not successful.
Only me, Alaine and Hui Xuan did not give up on the girls class outing.

What a waste!

Initially, Aijia asked me if i want to organise a GIRLS ONLY class outing. I told her OK. The in-charge were Aijia, Alaine and me.

On 18/19 Dec, Hui Xuan and I send sms to the girls asking their prefered dates for the outing. But only a few reply me=( I remembered only HuiXuan, Debbie, Abigail, HuiZhi, Hwee Wen, Vivien and YuXiang reply me.

I really do not understand why the girls just cant cooperate with us when we organised trip.

In the end, we changed our plan...only me, my sister, Alaine, HuiXuan, Darren and ZhiKang went to Sentosa(Palawang Beach). Coincidently, today is ZhiKang's Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZHIKANG!

Reflections for Yun Nan trip
The Yun Nan trip makes me realize the importance of family and Singapore. Before the trip, I did not know how to treasure the care and concern my mother gives me. I always complain that she is too harpy. I think the Long Pan students will prefer to get nag by their parents than not be able to see their parents everyday. At Long Pan, the students cried when we need to leave their school. Although we (from different nationality) only spent less than 48 hours with them, they really cried from deep down their heart. In Singapore, many students will have opportunity to interact with other schools’ students. So, we tend to not appreciate the friendship we have, though we are all Singaporean. At Long Pan, we gave them friendship bands, colour pencils, markers etc, they appreciate it although it doesn’t worth much. If we were to give all these in Singapore, no one will treasure it; after all it is just stationery. They are more passionate to learn compared to students in Singapore. They probably knew that it is extremely difficult for them to pursue their study in China, but their passion for learning doesn’t fade. We are too complacent and tend to take everything for granted. Their studying conditions are unpleasant. Before this trip, I tend to complain about my school’s flooring, lavatory etc. I think I’m too ignorant. I should have felt blissful to have proper dining tables, classrooms, lavatory etc. If I were them, I really do not know how to persevere through their life and surmount all the obstacles they faced. When I looked at them, I felt that all my woes are just negligible. I understand that many of us tend to be squeamish when we left Long Pan School. But I think it is a great opportunity for us to see the outside world and learn something that we cannot learn in school. We are more exposed to leadership activities at oversea. We knew that no one is going to take care of us in China (an unfamiliar place), so it is a great chance to learn to take care of ourselves as well as others.

Class outing! Around 26people were present. Ms Eng didnt come, due to some assignments that held her back. We went to East Coast Park to have fun.

The weather didnt cooperate, it rained heavily and drained our moods. However after the rain subsided, we continue with our games which Darren had planned. Some people did enjoy if he/she did participate actively in the games. Some people dont, if they idled around with their own activities.

This is a good experience for me, Alaine and Darren to learn from, so that we can organise a better class outing next time(:

Today is marking day!!

In the morning at 9am to 10am, I went for the work attachment--law firm interview. Im the first one to get interview...haha...im not nervous(: Overall, i think that my way of answering the questions asked, was bad. So stupid...i revealed the fact that i will be attending a chalet. Anyway..its ok(:

I have arranged to meet Alaine, Elizabeth, Vivien and YiZhe at the platform of the CCK mrt station at 11am.

Meet up. Set off to sentosa.

We went to the Palawang beach(: The lovebirds were like our parents. You should know who im referring to. They helped us take photos and watched us, as if we were little kids. Haha.

After the beach, we went to Vivo. Slacked at there. Then Elizabeth left us for home.

Today was the last paper for me(: Finally im free from examinations for two months? Today, my class had goegraphy paper. It was the last paper for non-biology student like me and half of my class. The another half of my class will be having their biology paper tomorrow. GOOD LUCK to them...happy two and a half hour of writting tomorrow.

Sky, Hui Xuan and I went to Wild Wild Wet to release our stress. We have been waiting for this day to come. We did enjoy ourself to the most.

I agreed to meet Hui Xuan at 1120 at Choa Chu Kang MRT station. I board the train at yew tee then head to Choa Chu Kang. Oh ya, i run into Javan at yew tee station. Called Hui Xuan when i board the train at yew tee, so as to ask her to get ready to board the train im in, once it reaches Choa Chu Kang station. She did not board the train...and i asked her to meet me at bukit batok station where we agreed to meet Sky.

At bukit batok, Sky and i waited for hui xuan to arrive. We saw hui xuan on that particular cabin and run to the cabin but could not find her. Looked out the train through the transparent sliding door, hui xuan was at the platform -.-"

Today was damn fun.
It was actually quite boring at first but after awhile...the atmosphere was better.
Went to Jurong Entertainment Centre and IMM with OBS friend.

We played some games.

Everyone will have a chance to climb a undergroung tunnel all by your own. This was the first time, i really felt that im all alone. I can hear my own body movements. The tunnel was damn dark. I can't even see myself. I can really feel how the blinds had always felt--alone, dark, lifeless. So people out there, stop emoing...you wasn't alone!

That day, we kayak from Sebawang's campsite back to OBS camp2.
We took 4 hour on the return journey. Before we start off our journey back, i saw the rainbow(my first time--so pathetic).
During the journey, we were damn complacent--we raced in the kayak(there were participants from Bangladesh, Brazil, India, China, Singapore, New Zealand) haha(:
This might be a feasible method to compelled us to kayak faster.

That day was a memorable day.
My kayaking partner had changed due to some issues. From kevin to Rong Tat. Our backpacks are transported via two rubber dinghy.
We kayak from OBS camp1 to the campsite at Sembawang.
It took us 8hour to complete the 13km distance.
The weather was appalling. As a mobile, we kayak through two storms, lightning and heavy rain. Waves and currents smacks against our kayaks. I can say, our kayaks are susceptibe to capsize in the midst of this treacherous sea expedition.
The storms had compelled some of us to kayak more rigorous. The storms had also caused some of us to give up. There were people with sea sick in the expedition and they vomited. One even dislocated his shoulder joint. What will you do when you have dislocated your shoulder?? You would have asked your partner for help. BUT...he didn't. He tried to fixed it back0_o. I knew some of us prayed fervently for the rain to subside and it really does after some time. We have to be vigilant at all times so to manoeuvre the kayaks or rocks, if not, we will bump onto other kayaks or worse, rocks, that are very dangerous. The relentless rain did not discourage us. It gave us the power to treasure the things we had. We have short breaks in between the expedition in the middle of the sea. Instructors threw food to us on their rubber dinghy. The food won't sink.
When we reached the campsite at Sembawang, we heaved with glee. Although, we were devastated during the storms, we have surmounted all the obstacles in the expedition.
The crucial skilled we had used is...persevered! So no matter what obstacles we have faced in life, persevered. Because i believed...after the storms, we will see the sun shines.
Camped at Sembawang. There were no utility or water supplied there. All we have is sea water and bushes to cook and do our business.
Everyone has their duties to do on that night. We have to patrol around the campsite to look after the bags, life vest and the rubber dinghy.

My group woke up very late and Fong was very disappointed with us. She lamented our efficiency of doing work that we decided to work extra hard on our efficiency. We have our morning exercise and jogging. Played some games before we start our activities.
Activities (1) Rock wall climbing
(2) Hiking
(3) Kayaking
I injured myself during rock wall climbing but was oblivious to it. Scratches here and there. Haha:p
Hike for half an hour. It is not just hiking...we have to carry lots of things that was really very heavy to OBS camp1.(two person to one backpacks provided by OBS^^i shared with Tricia^^--our two days clothes each , one poncho each, one life vest each, basic necessity each, two 2litres bottles each etc)
My kayak partner is kevin. We have to carry all the kayak near the shore. Learn to kayak and capsize(a drill). When i was going to stand up on my foot after capsizing, my knee come in contact with rough rocks. The rocks inflicted a wound on my knee.
Everyone will take turn to kayak and capsize.
After the drill, we kayak for approximately 2 hours. It was consider a short distance away from the shore. My partner and I capsize at the deep sea. Not accidentally but delibrately(assigned by instructor). Another kayak act as a rescurer to rescue us. There is actually a technique to rescue. Bear this in mind. You cannot rescue another kayak by jumping into the sea which the television programmes always showed.
The food i/c for that day is Hariz(regent). He likes to cook so i appointed him. He was so lucky, he did not need to cook at all, OBS provide us with a proper meal.
We have to pitched tent away from OBS camp1. It took us 15min to walk to our sleeping area where we could pitced our tents there.

At punggol jetty, a boat ferried us to OBS camp2 at Pulau Ubin.
There are two mobiles all together. Each mobile has a total of 4 groups.
I was the only girl from regent in my group "RALEIGH".
The first friend i knew from other school was Tricia. Nice to know her(:
On that day, our instructor, Fong appointed the various i/c.
Im the food i/c for the first day and i was like lost in the wonderland.
The first time i had to coordinate all the rations that was given for five days for 16people. I was like freaked out.
Took a group photo on the first day. The photo was lifeless to me...cos i cannot sense any togetherness yet. We were very shy and were unfamiliar with each other.
Feel like going home and was regret about going to OBS at first. I thought i was facing a dismal perilous journey of OBS at first.
We did a particular activity to test if we have mutual trust between our group members. 7people were to pull one side of the sheet, 8people were to pull another side of the sheet(there was handles to hold on/pull by the sides). One person stands at a particular height on something, back facing the rest of the groups members, ready to fall on the sheet. Everyone has to attempt it.
The command goes like this...
person: Raleigh ready?
group members: Raleigh ready, Raleigh pull.
person: falling
group members: fall on

Climb a 'high' element. It was sarcastic;p Learn to be a climber, belayer, ankleman, ropeman.
I was assigned to cook my group dinner. If you know me well...you should know i CMI. Luckily, Pei Ling, Foong Mei, Hafiz, Shariff help me with the dinner.
We have to pitched our own tents for us to sleep in. I was damn sleepy but cannot fall asleep. Maybe, i had not get acclimatise to a new condition.

YAY! Just one more test to go! Im so sleepy. Lesson were as usual today except the fact that chemistry leeson was used for biology test which doesnt concern about me--a non bio student. Just after our english common test, Alaine gave Ms Eng a surprise for her birthday which is tmr. Alaine walked towards Ms Eng with a birthday cake on her hands. And the same thing again..we sang the birthday song. Haha it was so coincidence...today is Kailer birthday. So the birthday cake was shared between Ms Eng and him. Oh ya, during recess, Sky, Abigail and me dilated upon hairy men. And the whole conversation was like..ok hysterical. I shall not go into it further.

Two more weeks, i wil be going for the OUTWARD BOUND SINGAPORE. I heard that it is very tiring and tough...hope i can smoothly overcome any obstacles that i will be facing in the camp.

# a tower makes of small triangles #
PE lesson was used for the Character Building thingiiee. On wed 13aug08, Mr Khoo distributed poker cards. Do not get the wrong idea...the cards is not for a cribbage.
It is for building a tower. The group with the tallest tower will win. Can you imagine that?? The cards were so fragile. Mr Khoo told us that other students from other class can reach a maximum layers of six. Whoa!

So every of my group members were doing their own tower...trying to figure out whose methods will work. I was trying too and an idea hit my mind. So the above individual triangles were my idea. Our limited scotch tape is not sticky anymore when the idea hits me. So we took the scotch tape from the teacher desk but must be careful not to let Mr Khoo finds out.(ppl invovled:sky and me)

Some of us make the individual triangle while others were planning the arrangement of the small triangles to build the tallest tower.

Our effort doesnt drained off--we build the tallest tower!

Last week on wed and thurs(16/7-17/7), I did not attend school. Reason being...im having high fever. On this particular thursday, i was taken aback by friends such as aijia, Debbie, Abigail, Zhilin etc. They came to my house to deliver presents and wishes to me(: On sat(19/7), im officially 15 years old!

At around 3pm, my sister and i headed to yew tee from my home sweet home. We took the train to toa payoh. Guess why we go there? Ok...my friends was out there having a entrepreneur "yescom" competition. I went there for a while...ya.

I headed to orchard. I went to Wisma Atria to collect my dear phone:) And yup, i forgot to bring my invoice and luckily that is not a big problem. Next, i went to Far East Plaza on foot. My sister and i did mosly window shopping as our hands were occupied with foods and drink. Haha...ok then around 6:30pm, we proceeded to home.

Today i was out with some friends: alaine, aijia, michelle, slyvia, huiying. Aijia and i acceded to meet at yew tee control at 1.35pm. We then board the train to bukit gombak. Waited at bukit gombak control station for a short while...alaine pick us up to her condo. We waited at her condo's clubhouse and we took some hysterical photos. Ok...we were just antertaining ourself;p Afterwards we headed back to the bukit gombak control to pick slyvia, huiying, michelle up.

Alaine booked a billiard room and we manage to strike up conversations and humours between us. This is my first time to play snooker and ok, it is quite fun.

At 6pm, we all headed to the help centre at ang mo kio. Albeit, I saw alot of the familiar faces but the situation was stiff and cold. We had a casual buffet. After the dinner, we have a casual talk. Out of the suddden...i could feel the frisson between the casual talk. Everyone were like laughing away. OK...that is better. We played a card game known as "saboteur". Is really fun.

At around 9pm, aijia and i departed from the help centre. Ok we cant reach home too late..yupyup..thats all(:Signing off~

Today after school, my mum and i went to the sony ericsson's orchard branch to send my hp's cable for repair. They requested for my hp too...therefore i have to use another phone which im not famaliar and comfortable with.

Next, i went to chinatown to buy all those neccessities. My mum and i took bus no.190 to cck interchange and the whole journey seemed like it was taking forever to reach our destination. I got impatient and lethargic.

My sister met up with us at lot1 and we strolled to a restuarant at the park. We ordered: satay, 'lala', 'mee goreng', 'hor fun', rojak and tea milk.

These days, i had not been updating my blog. Today 3-10 and 3-9 students had to wake up early for the mediacorp thingiiee (早安你好). Most of the students including me were audience. There were few speakers such as huizhi, weiling, yizhe, elis etc to share their opinion about "新加坡小孩吃得了苦吗？”

I just came back from a "kinship" family camp. Im so called a young and youthful instructor. Hehex, i feel so good being called as one of the student leaders. The 'student leaders'includes: me, AiJia, YanLing, HuiZhi, HweeWen, Alaine, YuXiang, Syuhaidah, BingHui, JunKang, Jonas. Actually some of us are still not consider student leader(including me)=P. It is a 2day, 1night camp. We have 'older' instructors to help us with the camp. They were not old but apparently they were older than us by approximately 5years. Some of the 'older' instructors were from junior college, while others were from university. Our purpose there was to help to build family bonds between their child and the mother. All the children came from single parent's family.

BTW TODAY IS FATHER'S DAY! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!<3

Sorry, today i cant hog the laptop that long. I will be continuing my camp stories tomorrow.=)Signing off

Today is the last day of my casual work...yipee!! My sales is quite good=)Sometimes I slacked but other times i was inundated with a throng of customers. I didnt adhered to the rule of not wearing slippers at work today:p Haha something astounded me...Sky n someone came to look for me at work...she bought me n my mum a drink...it's very thoughtful of her=)Thanks SKY. I work for ytd and today. Ytd i work for nine and a half hour. Today i work for eleven hour. I was knackered and worst still, i was having shoulder ache...due to too much of folding clothes. So people, next time when you are shopping..please do not flip the clothes. Thank you. Haha today SKY came to look for me and see how im doing at work. I manage to go with her. She bought a spa thingiie which cost her $30++. We were trying out the testers of those for hair uses. Sky mistook something else as the lip gloss and she tried it on her lip...haha:x. Today is fun and exciting=) I was out with Elizabeth, Aijia, ZhiLin, Sky at BUGIS!!!

My appointment with them(except sky)was to meet at yew tee control station at 10:30am....zhilin was de 1st to reach, follow by aijia, den me...last was elizabeth. Although im not the last to reach but i was still late by around five to ten minutes. Still acceptable ba?? We all managed to grab a seat at the 2nd cabin..pro ba?? I gave a call to sky to inform her abt: we had board the train, we were at which mrt station, which cabin we were in etc. She board the train at bukit batok. Haha..but she didnt manage to get a seat. Once we reach jurong east station, we switched to another train approaching boon lay...that is becos when we reached boon lay, commuters will alight from the train and we can hog the seat until bugis..smart us:P

We went to the bugis street but there wasnt much stall open. Probably we were too early. Elizabeth bought her phone cover, a black skinny and a sneaker. Aijia bought a sunglass. Zhilin bought nothing. Sky bought a dress, a flat-heeled shoe and a bag which cost her alot. I bought a shoe.

Our expedition was amusing. There were problems encountered.
1) Sky foot was pain because of her shoe...so...she bought a flat-heeled shoe just to ease her foot pain.
2) My flat-heeled, sneaker-liked boots spoilt...so...reluctantly i bought another pair of shoe. If not i going to buy a skirtT_T(i think i had incarcerated my boots for ages)so sad..my dear boots spoilt..i love it very muchT_T

We had took a long time foraging for food. Ya..food is an integral part of our expedition..because we had to use alot of energy walking around. All those places available to eat were crowded. There wasnt any seats available. In the end, we finally found seats available for five people at the mac. Sky drank alot, she told me she wasnt like that..probably she had a parched throat today ba.

Time to go home... Aijia bought alot of doughnut-liked delicacies(but is not doughnut). I bought a few delicacies(it is like chocolate fountain)...when you bite it, the chocolate(filings) will flow out=)

The train to city hall was packed with people. I was lucky enough to squeeze in. We alighted at city hall then switched to another train approaching marina bay. That is because..the commuters will all alight at marina bay and we will be able to hog the seat till we reach our destination.

Today im very busy n super tiring...a day as a promoter;) promoter sounds easy n relax..but..it is not true if u experience it urself. During work i kept hoping tat de time pass faster. Finally now im at home, sitting infront of de laptop typing my feeling abt de job. Promoter does not earn much. Inevitably, u will meet different people. Some customer is hostile. My clientele consisits mainly of ladies...tat is becos...i was de promoter of ladies apparel=)I do not consider myself as a eloquent promoter...but i do tried to persuade them to buy:D I jus hope tat my customers will gid me their cooperation. k ba..i will stop here...signing off<3
